Tour Plan

9:00 AM – Pickup from Your Bangalore Hotel

Begin your private Bangalore city tour with a hassle-free hotel pickup in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle. Your personal guide will greet you warmly and give you a brief introduction to the day’s itinerary. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a small group, this personalized Bangalore tour offers the flexibility and comfort that only a private guided tour in Bangalore can provide.

Tipu Sultan’s Fort and Summer Palace – KR Market

Our first stop is Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, a prominent attraction in any Bangalore historical places tour. Built in the 18th century, this palace showcases Indo-Islamic architecture with intricately carved arches, teakwood columns, and beautiful frescoes. You’ll learn about Tipu Sultan’s resistance against British colonial rule and his contributions to Bangalore’s legacy. Right next door is KR Market (Krishna Rajendra Market)—a vibrant slice of daily life in Bangalore. This bustling market is one of the oldest in India and a hub for flowers, spices, vegetables, and local trades. Ideal for photographers and culture enthusiasts, KR Market is a highlight in most Bangalore photo spots tours and offers a unique look into the city's traditional commerce.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden

Next, explore the lush greenery of Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the most peaceful nature and garden tour destinations in South Bangalore. Founded by Hyder Ali and expanded by Tipu Sultan, Lalbagh is home to over 1,000 species of plants, rare trees, and the famous Glass House, modeled after London’s Crystal Palace. Don’t miss the centuries-old silk cotton tree or the serene lake—perfect for a calm stroll and scenic photography.

Cubbon Park – Bangalore's Green Heart

Nestled in Central Bangalore, Cubbon Park is a lush urban sanctuary spread over 300 acres, making it a must-visit destination on any Bangalore sightseeing tour. Lined with shaded pathways, flowering trees, and colonial-era statues, it’s an ideal location for walkers, photographers, and those looking to unwind in nature. Established in the 19th century during British rule, Cubbon Park is home to over 6,000 species of flora and numerous historical structures, including the State Central Library and various memorials. Whether you’re on a relaxed sightseeing tour, a nature and garden tour Bangalore, or simply passing through the city, this iconic park is perfect for refreshing strolls and quiet reflection. For travelers exploring must-see places in Bangalore, Cubbon Park offers a tranquil counterpoint to the city's dynamic energy—making it a popular part of South Bangalore day trips and Central Bangalore tourist attractions alike.

Karnataka High Court – The Red Majesty of Attara Kacheri

Just across from Cubbon Park, you’ll find the stately Karnataka High Court, locally known as Attara Kacheri. With its distinctive red façade and graceful neoclassical design, it’s one of the most iconic landmarks featured in any Bangalore heritage tour or architecture tour Bangalore offers. Built in 1868 during British rule, the court building once housed 18 departments of the Mysore Government—hence the name Attara Kacheri, meaning "Eighteen Offices" in Urdu. Today, it stands as the administrative and judicial centerpiece of the state, and a favorite for photography during Bangalore photo spots tours. This location is not just about legal history—it’s an essential cultural and architectural highlight. Whether you're interested in colonial design or simply want to capture a great shot of Bangalore’s contrasting architecture, this stop is a cornerstone of every Bangalore city highlights tour.

Lunch Break (At Your Own Expense)

Around midday, your guide will recommend handpicked restaurants where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch. Whether you’re craving authentic South Indian thali, vegetarian dosas, or continental cuisine, Bangalore’s culinary scene won’t disappoint. This break is also a chance to engage with your guide, ask questions, or plan photo opportunities for the rest of your Bangalore city highlights tour.

Vidhana Soudha and Attara Kacheri

Post-lunch, the tour continues with a close-up look at two of Bangalore’s most iconic structures. The Vidhana Soudha, seat of Karnataka’s state legislature, is an enormous granite building in a Neo-Dravidian style that dominates the city’s skyline. Its grandeur makes it a staple in all guided Bangalore city tours. Across the street stands Attara Kacheri, a red-brick marvel that now houses the Karnataka High Court. The visual contrast between the two buildings is a reminder of Bangalore's dual identity—modern yet rooted in tradition, a key theme in many Bangalore heritage tours.

Bangalore Palace

The final destination on your Bangalore full day private tour is the majestic Bangalore Palace, built in the Tudor Revival style and inspired by Windsor Castle in England. The palace is a must on any Bangalore sightseeing tour due to its wooden interiors, stained glass windows, royal portraits, and sprawling gardens. You’ll explore the lavish halls, armories, and even vintage photos of royal ceremonies. This stop encapsulates the fusion of Indian royalty with European grandeur, rounding out the day as one of the must-visit places in Bangalore on a short trip.

5:00 PM – Return to Bangalore Hotel

As your relaxed sightseeing tour concludes, your guide will drop you back at your hotel. You’ll leave with lasting memories, incredible photos, and a deeper appreciation for the culture, architecture, and nature that define Bangalore. Whether it’s your first time in the city or a return visit, this one-day Bangalore city tour is designed to give you a complete, enriching experience in just 8 hours.

Very Flexible

This was a great tour. Manjurat was the driver and Kiran the guide. I got to see all of the major sites in Bangalore. They were flexible on how much time we spent at each location and what we did. All I had to do was ask. This is my third time to Bangalore, but first time I had the opportunity to do some sight seeing. I'm happy I was able to see more of the city...

Good city, bad tour

Good to explore around the city attraction but the guide could have provided more introductory sharing. Instead we rush to each spot, like 5mins in some of the spots, it feels like the guide just wants to finish the journey asap. The tour starts at 10ish and the guide leaves us at 3ish. What’s worse is they want to charge us for the airport drop while we are way ahead of schedule and it has never been agreed. And this is right after i gave them tips in the airport. The tour doesn’t give us a good impression at all. I am not sure if I will go with tour in this app moving forward...
